Sarah 4 month transformation
Hey folks, So I wanted to put up a post on to reach out to those who often strive for perhaps a more aesthetic change from their approach to training but maybe struggle day in day out to either hit the targets they set themselves or struggle to keep to the changes long term. What we all need to understand very quickly is that we are all unique individuals and as individuals the ‘one size fits all’ approach to training and exercise does not exist because our bodies will react differently. Different body types (endomorph, ectomorph, mesomorph and hybrids of these) and our Metabolic typing differences within our dietary requirements for example all play there role in why often some struggle to make changes. With the permission of Sarah who has allowed me to share this footage, I am proving that the Non traditional approach to training that I utilise in my practise and the methods I have taken the time to perfect through countless hours of research and application can and will indeed make superb aesthetic changes within the human body as a natural byproduct (the body understands there is no further need to hold on to excess body fat) and often more so because the approach I use is sustainable and so stays with you.. So what do I mean when I say sustainable with regards to training? Well basically I get to witness everyday the stress and mind games that my clients and friends are subject to. It’s broadcast constantly on TV, Social Media, through magazines and Newspapers and even throughout countless gyms. It’s the sales pitches of ‘No Pain No Gain Still remain the same’ or ‘Go hard or go home’ or perhaps ‘Sweat is body fat crying’ .. seriously? ... the term ‘ Marketing Ploy’ comes to mind 🙈 Or what about ‘Hey try this new Liquid induced diet like the celebrities use...It’s guaranteed to help you lose weight’ (they then add a 'photo shopped' image of a celebrity who is currently selling their own Fitness dvd 😂) well it’s got to work if the celebs are doing it right?? Err Wrong!!… it’s guaranteed to help you lose weight why? well because it’s producing a major calorie deficit on the body so yes you will lose weight but unfortunately here comes the ‘ sustainable' word which this is not. In fact it will seriously mess up your digestive tract and wreak havoc with your endocrine system (hormones) to such a degree that your body sometimes struggles to fully recover to a level it was at prior to starting the latest ‘Quick fix’ diet. Apologies for being a party pooper😝 but it is what it is…. Diets 'DO NOT' offer long term benefits. I would like to stress that Sarah did not partake in any crazy diets. She trained three times a week on average depending on her work commitments and some sessions were only 30 minutes duration which meant she didn’t feel she was living in the gym. Her goal was originally to address lower back pain but like most of us she also had a desire to remove unwanted excess body fat and tone up. She did all this whilst fighting her own mental demons and yes there were tears on a few occasions along with the ‘I can’t do it’ comments, so please don’t think this was easy for her. She stuck to it believing in me (crazy girl 😂) and the results speak for themselves. Reduced lower back pain, 10% body fat reduction, One and a half stone weight loss, 2” from her waist and the same from her hips but probably more important than all this was a huge sense of achievement and a healthier approach mentally both from within the gym and out of it.
